To the person who drives the Silver Toyota Corrolla that parked in my parking spot today at work, this is for you:
I will never understand why able bodied people find it neccessary to park in handicap parking spots. Are some people so lazy that they don't think about other people? I feel like I have paid the ultimate price to obtain the ability to park in a handicap parking spot. I was involved in an accident that I will never forget, I went through months of therapy which I will never forget and I wake up everyday and get in a wheelchair to do my daily activities. If you feel like I am overreacting or being selfish then I feel sorry for you! Whoever invented Handicap Parking Spots invented them for handicap people so If you are not Handicap stop parking in them. There are people out there who have paid the price and suffer on a daily basis who are more qualified to use Handicap Parking than you. As far as my parking spot at work is concerned, I am frustrated and fed up with my fellow co workers being so disrespectful and uncaring. Today, like many days before, I came to work and found someone in my parking spot, that is RESERVED, and had to go to the other side of the building to find somewhere to park. This made me late to work. So who ever you are I really hope you enjoyed parking in my spot for the few hours you got to park there until management found you. I hope you enjoyed being at work on time and clocking in without being late. I hope you enjoy getting to WALK into the building unlike me. I had to take a few extra minutes of my day to put my WHEELCHAIR together, get out of the car and roll into the building late because of you. Thank you "Fellow" coworker for your thoughtfulness. May all your days as an able bodied person be blessed and enjoy being able to jump out of the car and run in when your late.
